Named after Belleville’s Empire Stove Factory, a thriving business cornerstone, The Empire Neighborhood is home to the Downtown Belleville YMCA Robert L and Elsie Kern Center, a state-of-the-art health facility complete with swimming, racquetball, indoor track and much more. Living in the Empire Neighborhood also means you within an easy walk to Belleville’s Downtown and all of the shopping, dining and activities it has to offer. The historic Belleville Library is a great place to study or research or just peruse the wide variety of books, magazines and multi-media.
