Dallas Cook doesn’t feel safe and he says that Belleville crime and street conditions are his priorities. Listen to his plan to put more police on the streets and make Belleville more exciting and he plans to do it working less than 40 hours per week.

In this interview we discuss Cook’s upbringing as the son of a Belleville police officer and his childhood in Belleville’s Stolberg Lake neighborhood. He explains why he doesn’t feel safe for himself and his family in Belleville and what he wants to do about it. He also discusses his association with shock jock, Bob Romanik and his followers.

Cook explains how he feels that the job of Mayor of the largest city in Southern Illinois shouldn’t be a 70-hour-per-week job with perks such as a provided automobile.
